Hey you guys. What’s shaking?
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Rhubarb. It’s wild west-themed. Most people love that period. It just seems such a rough but magical dog eat dog-fantasy. At least in the movies. I can’t count the number of times I’ve dreamed of being the baddest, coolest, fastest gunslinger in wild west town. Rocking my mysterious stranger identity and laying down my vigilante law.
In reality I probably wouldn’t last long in a place like that. I simply possess no relevant skills for cowboy survival. At all. I would step out of my time machine. Take two steps. Get my feet all tangled up in one of those free flying shrubs. Fall . Break both arms. Call for help. Frighten a nearby horse. Be frightened by same horse. Then quietly and without drama give up and die.
They probably wouldn’t even make it a movie. I would go see it though.

Another awesome comic! Is that ‘button’ on his vest in the last panel what I think it is?
Thanks, FT. I’m not sure about the button though. If you think it’s a tiny universe within a universe filled with unicorns, layer cakes and hearts. Then yes:)
That sounds like a good universe to take your kids to for a nice family vacation.
That’s just what they want you to think – The evil evil unicorns.
Maybe some of us like evil unicorns!
Those free flying bushes are called tumbleweeds
I stand by my free flying shrubs:)
I love how excited everyone is in the background after the old timer says, no.
Haha … Yes, that kind of jollification does little to ease the feeling of rejection.
‘Jollification’ is the coolest word ever created EVER. Your comic provides multitudes of said jollification!
